Church Pilgrimage to Medugorje

Departure from Split Croatia:  Sunday 6th October 2024

Tuesday 1st October: Departure from London Luton to Split. We go immediately to Omiš for our tour and free lunch in the old City. We leave Omiš at 3pm to Our Lady of Lourdes in Vepric to celebrate our mass at 4pm. We leave to Medugorje at 5:30pm. Dinner at 8pm at the hotel.

 

Wednesday 2nd October: Breakfast at 7am. We leave the hotel at 8am to the Mountain of the Cross (Križevac). We pray the Rosary together with the Stations of the Cross while we are climbing the mountain. Lunch at the hotel at 1:30pm. We pray the Rosary (the Illuminous mysteries) behind St James church at 4pm, followed by a visit to Risen Christ’s monument for one hour in silence. We participate at 6pm in the International mass at the parish church. Dinner at the hotel at 8pm. Spiritual discussion at the hotel at 9pm. 

 

Thursday 3rd October: Breakfast at 7am. We leave the hotel at 8am to the Apparitions’ Hill to pray the Rosary. Lunch at the hotel at 1:30pm. Meeting at the hotel at 4pm for spiritual discussion. We participate at 6pm in the International mass at the parish church, followed by the adoration of the Holy Sacrament. Dinner at the hotel at 8pm. Spiritual discussion at the hotel at 9pm. 

 

Friday 4th October: Breakfast at 7am. We leave the hotel at 8am to the Mother’s Village, which was founded by Fr. Slavik for 1) the abandoned children without parents, 2) pregnant single mothers, the antiabortion centre, 3) addicted people to drogues, alcohol, gambling, internet games, etc.), the Merciful Father centre, 4) Kindergarten for children from the Mother’s House and the pro-life centre. 09:30am: Mass at the amphi-theatre in the Park of the Mother’s Village. Departure from the Mother’s Village by Coach to Kravica Waterfalls at 11:30am. Free lunch near the Waterfalls. Return to Medugorje at 5pm. 

 

Saturday 5th October: Departure to the Blue Cross at 8am, and a visit to the Cenacolo, the centre for drug rehabilitation established by mother Elvira, where druggies are healed from drug abuse and sinful life through prayer, manual work, and Christian brotherhood. Lunch at the Lebanese restaurant at 2pm. Dinner at the hotel at 8pm. 

 

Sunday 6th October: Breakfast at 7am. Free morning in Medugorje. Lunch at 1pm. Departure to Split airport at 5pm.
